Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 21, 2026
Desor is a Chrome extension that extracts design tokens — colors, typography, spacing, and components — from web pages and lets you import them into Figma. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses and how it is handled.
Data We Do Not Collect
Desor does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. No information is ever sent to any external server. The Extension has no backend and no analytics.
Permissions and Why We Need Them
- activeTab – To access the page currently open when you click the Extension icon, so it can read the page CSS and DOM to extract design tokens.
- scripting – To inject a local content script into the active tab that reads computed styles, fonts, spacing, and component patterns from the page.
- clipboardWrite – To copy the extracted design data to your clipboard so you can paste it directly into the Desor Figma plugin.
- tabs – To read the URL and title of the current tab so the Extension can display the site name and favicon in the popup.
- storage – To cache the last scan result locally in your browser so you can reopen the popup without re-scanning. This data never leaves your device.
- host permissions (all URLs) – Users can invoke Desor on any website they choose. The broad host permission is required because there is no way to predict which sites users will want to scan. It is only exercised when you actively click Extract Design System.
Local Storage Only
Any data cached by the Extension is stored locally in Chrome storage on your device. It is never uploaded, shared, or accessible to anyone other than you.
Third-Party Services
The Extension does not integrate with or send data to any third-party service.
